Our youth need more than promises, they need real and relevant opportunities.
In 2016, we responded to the need for youth in Orange Farm to have access to jobs and career information and opportunities. A one-day summit was activated in 2016 to 2020. But the youth told us they needed more.

In 2021, we created a transformation week, bringing industry and opportunities to Orange Farm. With COVID-19 still very much in place, we created a hybrid summit, enabling youth from Orange Farm and surrounds, as well as other centres to participate online.
It was hugely successful, so we expanded – from one stage to eight stages in May 2022.
In 2023, we activated 20 stages! This has now become a standard – we activate as many stages as required for each region so that we can maximise impact and enable our youth to get the information and opportunities they need to forge meaningful and sustainable futures.

Wherever we activate, we ensure that the District Development Model of the area is taken into account – to bring relevant opportunities for the area.
